Common Name: Great Cormorant
Description: Unlike the Socotra Cormorant, the Great Cormoront does not breed in Bahrain. They can also be distinguished from the Socotra by their larger size and lighter coloured bills. Cormoronts catch fish underwater but do not produce natural oils to keep their feathers dry.
