Description: This cowrie is a beautiful glossy shell with a pink to peach colouration on the teeth, the upper colour is light blue mottled green/brown with a large dark brown ‘saddle’ and big black spots to the margin. However, it is usually found rather washed out, being light brown on creamy white. There are approximately 17 strong teeth on one edge with less pronounced teeth on a rounded lip of the other edge of the aperture. Typical size: H 15mm L 32mm W 20mm
